Responsible AI & Voice Consent
Next Labs is designed for permission-based AI voice creation. You should only upload, clone, process, or generate from a voice when you own the necessary rights or have clear authorization to use it.
AI voice technology can be useful for narration, accessibility, creative production, education, localization, and other legitimate workflows, but it must not be used to deceive, defraud, impersonate, harass, or harm other people.
Consent comes first
Before using a voice sample, you are responsible for confirming that you have permission, ownership, or another valid legal basis to use that voice. This includes recorded voices, uploaded samples, and cloned voice profiles.
Permission should be clear enough for the intended use. A voice sample being publicly available does not automatically mean it is authorized for cloning, commercial use, impersonation, or redistribution.
Permitted examples
Appropriate use may include cloning your own voice, using a voice with the speaker's authorization, producing narration for permitted creative projects, accessibility workflows, internal business content, education, or other lawful uses.
High-risk or prohibited use
Next Labs must not be used for fraud, scams, unauthorized impersonation, harassment, threats, deceptive identity practices, fabricated endorsements, social engineering, or activity that violates another person's rights or applicable law.
Do not impersonate people
You must not use Next Labs to make another person appear to say something they did not say when you do not have authorization to create or distribute that content.
This includes using cloned voices to misrepresent the identity, views, approval, endorsement, instructions, financial requests, or communications of another person.
Public figures and recognizable voices
The fact that a person is well known, appears in public media, or has recordings available online does not by itself give permission to clone or commercially use that person's voice.
Users remain responsible for obtaining any rights or authorization required for recognizable voices, likeness-related rights, publicity rights, copyrights, and other applicable protections.
Fraud, scams, and deceptive communications
Do not use generated or cloned audio to trick people into sending money, revealing credentials, sharing private information, approving transactions, believing a false emergency, or acting on fabricated instructions.
Voice generation must not be used to support phishing, social engineering, identity theft, financial fraud, or similar deceptive schemes.
User responsibility
You are responsible for the scripts, recordings, voice samples, prompts, generated audio, and distribution decisions associated with your account. You should review generated content before publishing or sharing it.
You are also responsible for complying with applicable laws, contractual restrictions, platform rules, consent requirements, and intellectual property or personality rights that apply to your use.
Reports and enforcement
Next Labs may investigate reported abuse and may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts associated with unauthorized voice use, fraud, deceptive impersonation, security abuse, illegal activity, or other material violations of our policies and Terms of Service.
If you believe a voice is being used without authorization or you identify harmful or deceptive use, contact Support and provide a clear description of the concern so it can be reviewed.
Policy updates
We may update this guidance as Next Labs evolves, adds new features, responds to abuse patterns, or changes how voice technologies are offered. Users should review the current version when using sensitive voice-related features.
